About Barnacle Cottage

Barnacle Cottage is a traditional end terrace stone cottage, one in a line of six. Tucked away at the end of a no through road, next to the small primary school in the popular seaside village of Broad Haven. A pathway takes you from the end of the lane in front of the terrace to Barnacle Cottage with its prettily planted paved patio with lawn where you can sit and enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer’s evening.

Two steps lead into the split-level kitchen with another step up to the bathroom. The lovely spacious sitting/dining room is down a step, there is plenty of comfortable seating to relax on, cosy up around the wood burning stove. Stairs from here take you to the bedrooms above nestling in the eaves. To the rear of the cottage, steps lead up to a terrace garden with sloping lawn, care is needed but the views are worth it across the valley and Broad Haven village.

Conveniently located with a well-stocked village shop with Post Office, pub, cafe and restaurant all within walking distance in the village itself, spend your days on the beautiful golden sandy beach, just a 5 minute walk away. The beach is popular with water sports enthusiasts, both professional and beginners a like. There is a useful water sports hire shop near the seafront, so why not try your hand at kayaking to get a new perspective on the coastline. At low tide you can walk on the beach to the neighbouring cove of Little Haven or alternatively, join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path that runs through the village to go over the headland, there are a further choice of restaurants and pubs to try clustered around this picturesque sheltered cove. The area abounds in pretty coves and beaches to discover and a horse back ride on the beach at the neighbouring Nolton Haven is sure to be a magical experience.

An ideal holiday cottage for a couple or family to enjoy whatever the season.
